The Cedar Foundation is a voluntary organisation, which works in partnership with people with physical disability throughout Northern Ireland. We develop and deliver services that promote choice, opportunity, independence and equality.

The Cedar Foundation’s Vision is to play a leading role in the achievement of a community in which people with disabilities are valued and participate as equal citizens.

Our Mission is to deliver a range of services, which empower and support people with disabilities to be fully included in their communities.

The Cedar Foundation promotes choice for people with physical disability and/or brain injury in three main areas:

Training Services
Training Support Services at various centres throughout the province to help trainees gain access to employment, further education or training. Services include The Job Support programme, Basic Skills Training, Learning Support, Information Technology, and Integration Development.

Children & Young People’s Services
Provides information and support for children and young people with Cerebral Palsy and related disabilities, and their parents. Support includes attendance at clinics, advice and counselling to parents, liaising with appropriate statutory groups, such as Education, Health & Social Services, providing practical support to parents in the form of Workshops, Information Evenings and Parents Support Groups.

Living Options
  • Assisted Living Scheme- Which provides personal care and social support to individuals in the community
  • Accommodation Services- Which offers sensitively adapted housing providing 24-hr care, and Supported Living Projects.
