Mitchell House provides for the needs of children and young people with physical disabilities, some of whom may have associated learning and/or sensory difficulties. A coordinated educational and therapeutic programme is provided by a multi-disciplinary team of teachers, support staff, Physio, Occupational and Speech & Language Therapy staff and a school nurse. The school provides the full curriculum for Northern Ireland within which each child is encouraged to achieve his/her full potential through individually designed programmes ensuring achievement and progression.
