South and East Belfast Trust is the main statutory body responsible for providing community based health and Social services to those children, young people and adults among its population who are ill (physically or mentally), disabled, sensory impaired, or particularly vulnerable because of age or home circumstances. The Trust is also responsible for promoting the general health and wellbeing of all residents of the South Belfast, East Belfast and Castlereagh localities. Services provided include intensive home based support in-patient hospital treatment for people who are mentally ill, and a wide range of residential and day services for people of all ages.
